600MHz Band Changes

July 13, 2020 is approaching quickly.  B & B Integrations would like you to be aware of a recent change initiated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) affecting many of our customers who are using wireless microphone systems operating in the 600 MHz band. You can easily check your wireless systems to see if they are compliant.  Look on either your transmitter or associated receiver for a display or specification label indicating the frequency (or frequency range) the unit is operating within.   The frequencies in violation are within the numbers 617.000  – 698.000 (MHz).  B & B Integrations would be happy to assist you in understanding if your mics are compliant or providing proposal to make a conversion.  Many of the manufacturers are offering special rebates for a limited time on the exchange of the non-compliant systems.  We hope that this information we provided will assist you in determining if your wireless equipment is affected by the FCC ruling.
